Summit for Women in Academic Medicine: Trainee Event
Dr. Gillian Hawker, Chair of Medicine, and Dr. Sharon Straus, Vice -Chair of Mentorship, Equity and Diversity will be hosting a half-day version of the Summit for Women in Academic Medicine for selected female* trainees.
Both events aim to prepare women for successful leadership in academic medicine. Skills to be encouraged include developing, aligning, and driving vision, as well as negotiating and advocating to achieve goals.
