Hub Session: Essentials of Clinical Trials
This HUB session will discuss the rationale and the essential elements of randomized clinical trials using practical examples. Topics covered will include confounding in observational studies, randomization, blinding and intention-to-treat analysis, choice of outcome and sample size considerations, and pragmatic trial designs.
This session is open to:
- faculty members from U of T
- researchers
- research assistants
- research coordinators
- physicians
- and, clinicians working in research hospitals affiliated with U of T.
